The challenge
Powerful AI upscaling tools are often command-line only or need technical setup. The goal was a straightforward desktop app anyone can use to improve their images.
The approach
A Tauri shell with a Vue interface wraps Real-ESRGAN. The workflow is deliberately minimal: open an image, choose a type such as photo or cartoon/anime, pick a save location and upscale.
